Methodology

How Tradervote evaluates brokers.

AI web composite score (0–10)

The broker-page composite combines web reputation with objective regulatory facts. The same algorithm is applied across all brokers.

  • Web reputation: 75%. Trading environment 22%, deposits and withdrawals 18%, customer service 13%, trading costs 18%, and sales conduct 4%. Signals are adjusted for source, recency, duplication, and effective sample size.
  • Regulation and compliance: 25%. Review sentiment is excluded. Licence quality makes up 60% of the regulatory score, jurisdiction coverage 25%, and Tier-1 diversification 15%. Additional licences have diminishing returns; enforcement actions or licence suspensions may reduce the score.
  • Composite score. Web reputation × 75% + regulation and compliance × 25%. If review evidence is insufficient, only the regulatory facts score is shown; no reputation or composite score is generated.

The regulatory score reflects verified licence structure and coverage; it is not a guarantee that a broker is risk-free.

TraderVote user rating (0–10)

  • 9.0–10.0 · Excellent
  • 8.0–8.9 · Great
  • 6.0–7.9 · Average
  • 4.0–5.9 · Poor
  • Below 4.0 · Bad

Review verification

A review may be marked as verified when the author provides valid account, deposit, or withdrawal evidence. Verified reviews receive more weight and display a verification badge.
