Minimum deposit
The catalog reference is USD 100, but Plus500 states that each payment method has its own minimum displayed inside the deposit screen. The applicable amount can therefore differ by entity, currency and method.
Spreads and commission
CFD trading is primarily priced through a variable bid and ask spread and Plus500 states that it does not charge a separate dealing commission. Instrument spreads are shown in the platform. US futures use a separate commission schedule.
Additional fees
Potential CFD charges include overnight funding, currency conversion up to 0.7% of realised net profit or loss, wider spread for guaranteed stops, and inactivity fees up to USD 10 monthly after at least three months without login. Rates vary by entity and instrument.
Execution
International CFD transactions are booked directly with the applicable Plus500 entity through its proprietary platform. The entity acts as principal and sets its quoted bid and ask prices; execution terms and venues differ for exchange-traded US futures and regional investment products.
Maximum leverage
The highest verified leverage Plus500 can provide across all regions is 1:300 for eligible professional clients on forex and indices. It is not available to every client: retail regulatory caps, contracting entity, professional eligibility, instrument and account settings can all reduce leverage.
Margin close-out
A position is at risk when account equity falls below the total maintenance margin. Plus500 can close positions, starting according to maintenance-margin ordering, until equity again exceeds the required total. The platform shows instrument-specific initial and maintenance margin; no single percentage applies brand-wide.
Risk controls
Stop loss, stop limit, trailing stop and guaranteed stop can be available. Guaranteed stops use a wider spread and availability is instrument-specific. Negative-balance protection depends on entity and retail classification.

CFDs, futures and options are leveraged products with substantial risk. The displayed 1:300 is the highest verified capability, not a recommendation or a right available to every client. Loss protection, product risk and the possibility of losing more than the initial amount differ by product, entity and classification.
