Support and availability

FP Markets advertises multilingual support through live chat, email and telephone. Availability is stated as 24/7 on international pages and 24/5 on the Australian FAQ, so the applicable regional contact page controls.

The international legal footer excludes residents of the United States, United Kingdom and several sanctioned or listed jurisdictions, including Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Myanmar, Russia, Somalia, Syria, Sudan and Yemen. European clients use the CySEC service, while product access also varies by local law and entity.

The official account table lists USD 100 or the equivalent for Standard and Raw accounts. Account, entity, platform and funding method can change the amount shown during onboarding.
Spreads and commission
Standard accounts publish spreads from 1.0 pip with no separate forex commission. Raw accounts publish spreads from 0.0 pips and USD 3 per lot per side on the current international account table. Regional currency, platform and product schedules can differ; live specifications control.
Execution
CFDs are over-the-counter rather than exchange transactions. The Seychelles execution policy states that FP Markets transmits orders to its selected execution venue and obtains prices by reference to external providers. Best execution is a process, not a guaranteed price, and slippage can occur.
Maximum leverage
The highest verified leverage FP Markets can provide across all regions is 1:500 on eligible forex accounts and instruments. It is not available universally: contracting entity, retail or professional classification, instrument and platform determine the actual cap. Australian retail major-forex leverage is capped at 1:30, while eligible wholesale or international settings may reach 1:500.
Margin call and close-out
For MT4, MT5 and cTrader accounts, the official FAQ states a margin call at 100% and automatic stop-out at 50%, starting with the largest losing position. IRESS uses separate risk-team thresholds: 50% intraday, 75% at weekday end and 90% at weekend end. Entity and platform terms control.
Negative balance protection
FP Markets states that negative-balance protection is available to retail clients, and the Australian PDS describes the statutory retail protection. Scope can differ for professional, wholesale and offshore classifications; it does not remove market risk or guarantee execution.

Forex and CFDs are leveraged products and can cause rapid loss. The displayed 1:500 is the highest verified capability, not a recommendation or an entitlement for every client. OTC execution, slippage, margin close-out and protection rules vary by entity and classification.
